Wetumpka is facing Pike Road this week, looking to break their streak of a 1-3 start for the last three years.

Wetumpka (1-2, 0-1) is looking at a big challenge this week. They welcome AHSAA Class 6A Region 2 reigning champions Pike Road (2-1, 1-0) to the Wetumpka Sports Complex on Friday. 

The Wetumpka Indians are a young team this year with some seasoned or returning starters sprinkled into the lineup.Â
