Wetumpka quarterback sophomore Charlie Skipper leads the Indians’ offense with 227 yards per game.

It’s been three straight losses for the Wetumpka Indians — Chelsea in Week 2, then Russell County, then Pike Road last week. They travel to Dothan this Friday to take on a region opponent for the third-straight week, Rehobeth.

After their 29-6 loss to Pike Road last week, the Indians should have a fire burning inside of them, looking to take back ground in the AHSAA Class 6A Region 2 Standings. Wetumpka is currently in the bottom half of the current region standings, sitting at 2-0. Those two losses, however, come at the hands of the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds in the region at the end of last season, Pike Road and Russell County respectively.Â
