Edgewood Academy senior Brock Whitt celebrated reaching 1,000 career points for the Wildcats on Monday night just before tip-off against Banks Academy, receiving a ceremonial ball to commemorate the occasion. He reached the 1,000-point mark at the start of the second quarter of Edgewood’s boys basketball win over Lowndes Academy, 61-32, last Tuesday night.
