Sabrina Slaughter has only been on the custodial staff of the Alexander City Schools system for six years, and only an actual employee for three, but that didn’t keep her from winning the 2025-2026 Support Staff of the Year award.

Prior to her three-years employment with ACS, Slaughter was employed with APCO, a cleaning service company, for three years. This marks six years students, teachers and staff have seen her smiling face every day.
