The outer wall of Who’s Diner has been temporarily covered after a truck hit the building Sunday evening.

According to a press release from Alexander City Police Department, the driver of a blue Ford F-150 was trying to park at the local restaurant and he was attempting to park when he accidentally pressed the accelerator instead of the brake, causing the truck to jump the curb and strike the building. The truck had partially entered the front of the building, according to first responders arriving at the scene. Several patrons were inside at the time of the incident.
