Benjamin Russell High School Advanced Placement students show off their awards during a special ceremony held for them Friday.

Principal Shannon Benefield and Advanced Placement coordinator Megan Ford handed out $9,400 in cash awards to several dozen students whose AP class scores qualified them for the distinction.
