The Benjamin Russell girls basketball team took home a 45-28 win over Elmore County on Monday night.

For the Wildcats, Ami Edwards made her return to the lineup after dealing with an injury and led the team with 16 points. Edwards added eight steals and five rebounds to her stat line. Gabby McKinney finished close behind with a 12-point outing — knocking down two 3-point attempts. Amari Cunningham and Ka’Mariya Banks dominated under the rim, reeling in a combined 20 rebounds with each grabbing 10 apiece.
