With Black History Month drawing to a close this weekend, Alexander City resident Orlando Withers’ list of local Black icons will also be finished this weekend.

The three-year annual list compiled by Withers is posted almost daily on Facebook. He said in an earlier interview this month that the list was also to thank those Black residents who have made an impact on the community over the years.
