With no revisions to the budget that was presented to the Alexander City Schools Board of Education last week by chief schools financial officer Lisa Dickerson, the board easily passed the $46.1 million budget Tuesday night for the upcoming fiscal year.

CSFO Lisa Dickerson presented Alexander City Schools FY27 budget across two meetings to the board.

During last week’s budget hearing, Dickerson told the board revenue was $49.5 million and the biggest increase in expenditures was for personnel benefits.
