On Wednesday, Feb. 11, Benjamin Russell standout baseball player Jaxson Edwards announced and signed his letter of intent to play in college at Freed-Hardeman University.

Freed-Hardeman is a NAIA university that primarily competes in the Mid-South Conference and is located in Henderson, Tennessee. So far this season, the Lions have jumped out to a 3-1 record, opening the year with a three-game win streak.

Samuel Higgs / TPI Benjamin Russell's Jaxson Edwards signed his letter of intent to play college baseball at Free-Hardeman University in Tennessee. He posted a 3-1 record in four starts last year for the Wildcats.
