With the soccer season kicking off next week, the Benjamin Russell’s boys and girls soccer teams are ready to get on the pitch and make their marks in Class 6A Area 5.

On the boys side, the Wildcats finished 7-8-4 and 2-2 in Area 5. BRHS coach Lee Wagoner hesitated to call it a rebuilding year, after 10 seniors graduated out of the program after last season. Wagoner acknowledged that he is still looking for players to step up ahead of the season.
