Upcoming Benjamin Russell senior Serena Delacruz attended the seventh Huntingdon College Economic and Community Development Scholars Program a few weeks ago. The program is intended to teach high school students about economic development.
Launa Faith Reynolds, an upcoming senior at Benjamin Russell High School, attended an economic development program at Huntingdon College. The program is put on in part through the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama, and Jaden Tuck, Alexander City Chamber of Commerce workforce and career readiness coordinator, said this was the first year students from BRHS had attended.
A few weeks ago, 23 rising high school seniors attended the seventh Huntingdon College Economic and Community Development Scholars Program on the college’s campus.
For the first time, two of those students were from Benjamin Russell High School.
