When Horseshoe Bend School bookkeeper Beverly East arrived at HBS, she was there for a completely different purpose. However, her career has given her the opportunity to continue to grow her roots at home.

From 2016 to 2018 East served HBS as a school resource officer. After the HBS bookkeeper retired in 2018, East decided she was ready to get out of law enforcement. Equipped with an accounting degree, she wanted to continue to serve the school that served her children.
