Central Coosa hosts first-ever 7-on-7 invitational

At this point in the summer, the goal for most football teams is simply to work hard and improve. Central Coosa’s football team is no exception. The Cougars hosted their first 7-on-7 invitational tournament on Thursday, a major event with several Division I committed players in attendance with their team. 

Coosa was joined by Hueytown, Midfield, Thorsby, Notasulga, Winterboro, Escambia County, Talladega, Keith and Verbena. Coosa football coach Daniel Flowers was very proud of the program’s efforts to organize the many-team tournament.
