Trafficking suspect caught ‘wet handed,’ police say

Law enforcement is saying it caught its suspect “wet handed” Friday in Alexander City.

According to a press releases, Anthony Eugene Lewis, 49, of Alexander City, was arrested and charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in opium, illegal possession of a prescription medication, certain persons forbidden to possess a pistol, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence after a search warrant was executed on County Road in Alex City.
