Two eyesores in the old Russell Corp. complex will be gone soon.

With a grant from the Growing Alabama Tax Credit program secured by Lake Martin Area Economic Development Alliance, the now Alexander City owned Russell buildings No. 8 and No. 9, are set to be demolished making the property hopefully easier to sell.

The demolition of Russell Corp.'s old mill No. 8 and 9 will free up industrial space to help bring more jobs to the area.
