After a long work session and meeting, Alexander City Mayor Mike Densmore closed the regular city council meeting on a positive note — a $2 million check from Energy Southeast.

“I'd like for you to know we've got a plan that's beginning to come together,” Densmore said. “These council people do not know what I've got in my hand, but I want you to watch their eyes as I walk by with them.”
