For most of the season, the call card for the Central Coosa basketball team was its offense. When in doubt, someone, if not multiple players, would have their hand involved in the scoring.

However, against LaFayette, the Cougars were in search of any semblance of the scoring capabilities they had shown this season. And as a result, they fell 52-43 to the Bulldogs in the AHSAA Class 2A Regional Tournament.
