Usually at this time, Central Coosa is gearing up for the basketball season. Except this year, things are different.

After 10 years on the outside looking in, the Cougars are going to the playoffs. And coach Daniel Flowers does not plan on slowing down after this Friday. Despite having a bye week to end the season, it actually played a much needed role for the Cougars — giving them extra prep and extra rest, both of which Central Coosa is going to need when lined up across Luverne.
