It worked until it didn’t for the Horseshoe Bend Generals as they hosted the Coosa Central Cougars in a Class 2A Region 4 matchup on Friday night. The Generals defended their home turf recovering the first two onside kick attempts and marching down the field.

Before the Cougars even saw their offense get on the field, the Generals had two drives totaling 87 yards and Horseshoe Bend led 14-0 with a minute and half to go.
