It’s not typical to see a team of Horseshoe Bend softball’s caliber not be able to record a hit on the day. However, that was the case in Thursday's non-region contest against Woodland, falling 3-0.

The Bobcats pitcher Railey Williams completed the no hitter, logging six strikeouts in the pitching duel. Horseshoe Bend’s one-two punch of Brynlee Alford and Madison Smith combined for seven strikeouts, while keeping the game scoreless until the bottom of the seventh.
