Hagen Whiteard has grown quite accustomed to how the AHSAA North-South All-Star Softball game goes down. So far in her coach career she’s helped send three to participate for Team South; Reagan Taylor (2023), Lily Moss (2025) and Brynlee Alford (2026). But this year is going to look a little different for her — she's coaching in it for the first time in her career. 

But when she got the news, she initially thought it was just to hear what names from her team were selected.
