This has been seven years in the making for Horseshoe Bend cross country standout Cami Cook.

On Thursday, surrounded by family, teammates and faculty, Cook signed her National Letter of Intent to pursue running at the next level with Gadsden State Community College. Cook was a part of all three Horseshoe Bend cross country teams that qualified for the state championship. But this year, she nursed a foot injury that kept her sidelined.
