Horseshoe Bend School juniors chosen as delegates for the Alabama American Legion Boys State and American Legion Auxiliary Girls State programs say they are going big or going home.

Ridge Lovelady and Hannah Yates serve in multiple school clubs and sports teams with Yates serving as head editor of HSB’s journalism club and section leader in the school’s marching band. Lovelady is a chairman in Future Farmers of America and has served in other school clubs as well. Both students also have part-time jobs.
