It was not a bad weekend by any stretch of the imagination, but it sure was a long one for the Horseshoe Bend softball team.

Over the course of two days, the Generals got their work cut out for them with four games in just shy of 24 hours. They finished 2-2 over the weekend, picking up a 9-2 win over Oakman and another 4-3 win over Beauregard to cap off Day 1. Then on Day 2, played up a few classifications, losing 11-0 to reigning Class 5A state champs Moody and a 4-1 loss to Holtville — also Class 5A.
