In a forward-thinking decision several years ago, a partnership between Benjamin Russell High School and Central Alabama Community College is helping students reap big rewards.

Leaders Excelling in Academic Pathways is a program that allows BRHS students to not just dual enroll at CACC, but gives them enough college credits to graduate from both schools at the same time.

Six 8th graders from Alexander City Middle School qualified to enter the L.E.A.P. program beginning with the 2026-27 school year. This will allow them to graduate from Benjamin Russell High School and Central Alabama Community College at the same time.
