Three local arts programs will be receiving funding from the Alabama State Council on the Arts.

The council is awarding a total of $3,909,400 across the state. Alexander City Arts and Alexander City Theatre II in Tallapoosa County and Kelly Fitzpatrick Center for the Arts in Elmore County will all receive a portion for the upcoming fiscal year.
