A single-vehicle crash resulted in the death of Jeremy J. Webb, 42, of Jackson’s Gap.

According to a press release from Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Webb was driving a 2020 Kenworth dump truck at approximately 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, on Alabama Highway 22 near the 131 mile marker about one mile east of New Site. The truck he was driving left the roadway, overturned and struck a tree. Webb was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
