The Alexander City Police Department, in conjunction with S.A.F.E. Prevention Program, conduct a lot of events that bring police officers together with the community.

The Alexander City Kiwanis Club invited Capt. Tyler Lashley, school resource officer at Nathaniel L. Stephens Elementary School, and Capt. Rashunsky McKinney, coordinator of S.A.F.E., to speak with them about the roles they play in local youth’s lives.
