The philosophy for Kirk Johnson has always been to build relationships. He said it when he first got hired to take over the Benjamin Russell football program, and he is still saying it to this day. Of course, the players are at the forefront of that approach, but Johnson took it a step further on Thursday with the BRHS first annual Mom’s 101 camp.

This is not the first time Johnson has done something like this in his coaching tenure, but it was the first time he’s done so while in Alexander City.
