Adelia M. Russell Library welcomes local author

On Wednesday, May 11, Adelia M. Russell Library welcomed local author and poet, Runas Powers III.  Powers’ works include: “A Collection of Thoughts”; “Heart, Soul & Rhyme”; “Simply Runas”; “Verses of Pain and Love”; “A Right to Write”; and his latest, “Some Dreams Never Die.” A crowd of nearly 30 attended the event. 

Powers provided a summary of his books, poems and plays, and highlighted a few of the stories and shared some of the real-life observations and experiences that were the genesis for his writing. After his summary, Powers fielded several questions from the attendees.
