Animal control officers aim to keep animals, people safe

Local law enforcement is responsible for keeping the community safe. Keeping the community safe means arresting those who commit crimes, and handling emergency animal situations.

Every year, Animal Control Officer Appreciation Month is celebrated during April. During this week, animal control officers are honored for what they do.
