CACC professor gives lesson in life and Ebola

CACC’s Dr. Jay Cherwa said he enjoyed seeing how students took to heart mission of selling special wristbands to help fund the battle against Ebola.

A biology instructor at Central Alabama Community College turned what was a topic in class into a lesson in life.

Dr. Jay Cherwa said what started as a class study and discussion, turned into a fundraiser involving Internet donations and student involvement that has raised more than expected.
