CACC students advance to national competition

When an opportunity to change your life presents itself, it’s important to take advantage of it. Four Central Alabama Community College students have the chance to win $150,000, and they’re going to do whatever it takes to be victorious.

The students in Patrick Murphy’s machine shop class on the Childersburg campus will advance to Project MFG’s national competition after demonstrating their sophisticated skills in machining, programming and welding in local and regional competitions.
