Benjamin Russell High School seniors who plan to attend Central Alabama Community College are eligible to apply for the Alexander City Chamber of Commerce's Gateway Scholarship.

The Alexander City Chamber of Commerce aims to facilitate the success of youth in the community through many facets including its Gateway Scholarship.

Established in the early 2000s, the donor-funded program has provided financial assistance for Benjamin Russell High School seniors who plan to attend Central Alabama Community College following graduation. Since the program’s inception, the chamber has provided over $2.5 million in funding to \ incoming CACC freshmen.
