The first-ever SunFest art came from the creative juices of John Denney, winner of the T-shirt art design contest.

“It has the state of Alabama, and I think the committee felt it was appropriate because this is a tourism initiative,” said chamber president and CEO Ann Rye. “That’s kind of the whole goal of SunFest – to draw attention to Alexander City and the Lake Martin community.”
