Veterans, private citizens and city officials gathered at Veterans Memorial Park at the Sportplex Sunday to honor soldiers who paid the ultimate price.

“We’re very privileged to be able to come here and thank those veterans who are here for what you did in your service and to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and their families,” Mayor Barbara Young said.
