Reduced ambulance services may be on the way as Dadeville Mayor Jimmy Goodman announced a possibility of the reduced service from Ivy Creek Healthcare.

Last week, Goodman met with Ivy Creek Healthcare CEO Mike Bruce to discuss the matter, and Goodman said during Tuesday’s meeting of the Dadeville City Council, there may not be enough funding to continue ambulance service while also maintaining fair pay for employees. During Tuesday’s pre-council meeting, Goodman consulted with other council members about the possible changes and opened up the floor for suggestions on how to increase ambulance funding as soon as possible.
