City of Dadeville establishes historic district

During the Oct. 10 Dadeville City Council meeting an ordinance was passed for the town to have a Dadeville Historic District committee.

The City of Dadeville has established its own historic district and with that is forming a historic district committee. 

The Dadeville Historic District is taking the state and federal historic districts that overlay to create one recognized by the city. This district is largely the downtown area and stretches a couple blocks from it.
