When Lana Guess Thompson’s father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, the certified professional in human resources and certified professional behavior analyst says she “did everything wrong.”

But she says her situation dramatically improved after she studied behavioral research on the topic, which is why the Pelham resident now conducts workshops to share her advice to others in her position.
