Red Ribbon Week, the nationwide week on substance abuse prevention, had the local schools talking and teaching about saying no to drugs last week.
At Dadeville High School, the Ethan Club of Dadeville presented the winners of Alabama Peace Officers’ Association Say No to Drugs essay contest to the eighth graders. Kimoria Jones won first place, while second place was given to Hannah Vuong and Carmen Vasquez took third.
