Steven Abercrombie

Steven McKinley Abercrombie, 22, of Alexander City, with an unknown co-defendant made a forced entry into a Washington Street home about 8:40 a.m. Saturday, according to court records published Monday evening.  

“While inside, the defendant produced a firearm, demanded the victim Toiyas Gopher for currency and the defendant shot Gopher multiple times,” a court document states. “The victim was pronounced deceased on scene at 10:45 a.m.”
