Tallapoosa County commissioner T.C. Coley attended Monday’s Tallapoosa County Board of Education meeting and explained the salary changes approved during Alabama’s legislative session.

With the educational trust fund being in one of the best shapes it has ever been, teachers with nine or less years of experience will receive a 2% pay increase, and 3 percent for those with more.
