With a new system in place for elections, there were a few hiccups at first, but ultimately the June 3 primary in Tallapoosa County went smoothly.

Tallapoosa County Probate Judge Leon Archer said there were a few kinks early with new voting machines and different ballot styles, but those issues were resolved early in the day as residents went to the polls.
