FUMC finalizes separation process

The former Trinity Campus of First United Methodist Church of Alexander City will now be the only home of the church as the two campuses have split into a separate church.

The First United Methodist Church of Alexander City officially split into two churches earlier this week. 

The church finalized a separation agreement during a Jan. 29 conference, which resulted in FUMC remaining at the former Trinity Campus and the Green Street Sanctuary and Arbor worship facility both becoming part of Cornerstone First Global Methodist Church.
