When it comes to helping area veterans, few businesses can match the efforts of the Alexander City Home Depot store.

Over the past three years, the store has helped with 20 projects, ranging from small repairs to major renovations. Thursday, the Bill Nichols Chapter 13 of the Disabled American Veterans again said thank you to Home Depot for their unselfish giving to area vets.
