It has a new name, but the Wells Fargo branch on Highway 280 will seem very familiar to customers.

The branch, which recently transitioned from Wachovia, debuted a mural featuring historical scenes and documents from Alexander City and Wells Fargo. The local branch was one of several Alabama banks to receive a mural, Wells Fargo spokeswoman Jamie Dexter said.
