Randall Hurt, 49, of Dadeville, was arrested and charged with attempting to elude a police officer, first-, second- and third-degree theft. 

According to court documents, Hurt took possession of a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, a bag containing an assortment of Snap-On tools, a Thompson Center 44 Magnum Handgun and a Colt Target 221 on June 14. All of the stolen items belong to one owner.Â
