Imagination Station funding discussed at council

Funding for the Imagination Station is steadily underway. 

The Alexander City Parks and Recreation Department has been consistently receiving donations from various sources since the start of the project. At this week’s meeting, the city council approved a resolution to authorize Mayor Woody Baird into an agreement with the Tallapoosa County Commission to accept $100,000 from District 2 commissioner Steve Robinson’s American Rescue Plan Act funds for the purpose of expanding recreational services.
