After five years of planning, the Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Department will soon have a new telecommunications center. 

After receiving approval from the Tallapoosa County Commission and E911 Board, the sheriff’s department is now in the beginning stages of getting a new dispatch center added on to the existing sheriff’s office.
